Dr Mwakatobe started his journey of dentistry in 1997 as he graduated from dental school. He was privileged to attend various dental schools in Russia, Sri Lanka and Japan, where he was qualified to PhD level and Specialist in Orthodontics.

Dr. Mwakatobe has attended special training in Lingual Orthodontics, Clear Alligners and Temporary mini implants (TAD) at the Kyungpook national University, Daegu, South Korea.

Dr Mwakatobe is the Immediate Past President of Tanzania Dental Association, Current Patron for TDSA- Tanzania Dental Students Association and board member of MCT- Miracle Corners Tanzania.
