Smiles Dental Clinic is a family friendly private dental practice that caters for the holistic dental health needs of Tanzania’s growing elite population. As Tanzania’s growing population becomes better educated and more affluent, people are becoming more aware of and are in demand of esteemed social services including better medical and dental care.

The goal of Smiles dental clinic is to provide high quality general and specialized dental care of reasonable and affordable cost using advanced techniques, equipment and materials.

Clinic Floor Plan

The comfortable relaxing dental clinic provides a spacious waiting room with a selection of entertaining pieces ranging from dental documentaries, diaries and other social reading materials. We stock medical and dental journals amongst other reading materials. Our waiting clients and escorts are supplied with drinking water and an occasional cup of tea! Our four operating rooms at Jamhuri branch and two operating rooms at Posta branch are designed professionally and are also air conditioned to maximize comfort during procedures. We are furnished with a petrol generator as an alternative source of electricity. Our clinic is stocked with a wide variety of genuine dental products for our valued clients.

Uncompromising Patient Safety

Infection prevention and control (IPC) at Smiles dental clinic is of utmost importance to us. In order to protect our esteemed clients and staff from cross infection we decontaminate and autoclave our equipment as recommended by the Tanzania Dental Association (TDA) and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) in a special Sterilization room. Water supply to each dental unit is separate. Clean bottled water is used for mouth rinsing rather than tap water. The water lines are cleaned with disinfectant solution to prevent bacterial growth. A clean apron is worn by the client and eye protective gear is provided to protect eyes.

To give our clients the best possible service and results, we are committed to continual education and professional development. Being members of various professional dental associations we stay abreast with changes in technological and clinical advancements in the field of dentistry. We also attend international dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products and equipment necessary to modernize our dental office and services.

Operations

Smiles dental clinic is operated by skilled dentists and a dental specialist with vast working experience. Our staff is friendly and welcoming. Our clinic is highly flexible with regards to time; we are open on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 17:00.We value our client’s time hence we extend our working hours on various nights (Tuesday and Wednesday) to accommodate clients with tight day time schedules. We use advanced technology combined with top-notch dental skills, competent and dedicated supporting staff working in a calm and comfortable setting to deliver high quality dental treatment and hence attain high levels of client satisfaction.
